Celotex
Phenolic Fiber known as Celotex, is an extra fine mesh cotton fiber or sheet impregnated with phenolic resin. Celotex cotton sheets, under pressure, are joined together with phenolic resins, thus achieving great mechanical resistance as well as being an excellent electrical insulator. Its properties of resistance against chemical agents are excellent and it suffers a minimum wear by friction. This material has a good resistance to temperature up to 120º C and a low specific weight. Given its dielectric capabilities, it is a widely used material in the manufacture of insulating assemblies, couplings, clutch discs, bearings, etc. We can supply it in plates, bars or mechanize the pieces as indicated by our clients.
