BelpaGRAF Multilayer Gasket material made of pure laminated expanded mineral graphite reinforced with several 0.05 mm stainless steel metal sheets (SS316L). Thanks to the stainless steel foils, it has excellent chemical resistance, great resistance to temperature and creep, offering high tightness without the need to be retightened. It meets most of the requirements for industrial services, refineries, petrochemicals, being the solution for applications at high pressures and temperatures (>550 oC and 200 bar), including steam applications, even meeting the API 607 FIRE SAFE TEST requirements. Suitable for high pressures and temperatures, it is a universal material for gaskets of boilers, pressure vessels, valves, pumps and other industrial equipment.
