• Egraflex Steelflon Gaskets

Concerned about the environment, Coestan offers a sealing solution with the minimum risk of leakage and CO2 emissions.  The Steelflon Egraflex gaskets are composed of multilayers of graphite of very high purity and stainless steel, with a PTFE finish and all without any adhesive. These gaskets offer excellent reliability in high temperature ranges and guarantee the requirements required for environmental protection and plant safety. Let's look at the comparison of the following table of the main products for high service temperatures:

The result is a gasket based on the multilayer graphite of Sigraflex MF, manufactured by SGL, with an inner eyelet and with a PTFE layer on each face to which a specific pressure is applied to encase the corrugated geometry of the joint and seal all the int layers errons of it. The PTFE finish ensures easy assembly and replacement, as it prevents adhesion to the flange face; the gasket can be removed without leaving any residue and the flange does not have to be disassembled for cleaning the sealing surfaces. On the other hand, the structure of the joint prevents it from absorbing water and prevents problems that occur in the graphite joints that are moistened.

Egraflex Steelflon gaskets have the following approvals
